Ethan Bufford turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Tuesday. He tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He is becoming a predictor of Lancaster's success: when he allows at most one hit the team is 3-1 (and 4-7 when he doesn't).

Bufford's strong effort led Lancaster over South Pointe and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bruins are 8-2 against the Stallions going back to March of 2022, a lead they'll look to extend.
