Basketball Recap: Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Crown Point, Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They slipped by the Noblesville Millers 47-46.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory was led to victory by Austin Ford and Jacob Strickland. Ford posted 15 points, while Strickland scored 12 points and five rebounds. Ford has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Nicholas Sobek, who put up eight points.

Noblesville lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Justin Curry II, who earned 17 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Baron Walker, who had ten points and seven rebounds.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Noblesville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory will face off against Evansville Memorial at 3:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Evansville Memorial will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory surely won't give up without a fight. As for Noblesville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 50-41 win against 21st Century Charter on the 27th.
