After losing to Souhegan the last time they met, Milford decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Milford had enough points to win and then some against Souhegan on Friday, taking their matchup 47-27.
Milford started the contest off right with 34 first-half points. Souhegan countered with 7 points, leaving the score at 34-7 going into the half. Milford were outperformed in the second half 13-20 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The game brought them to 3-2 and dropped Souhegan to a mirror-image 2-3.
Next week Milford take on Kennett at Milford HS at 7:00 PM. Kennett took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Milford's good fortune. As for Souhegan, they will face off against Pelham. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
