Baseball Recap: Perry Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Perry barely beat Morrison the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Maroons were the clear victors by a 12-4 margin over the Wildcats on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Maroons, who have now won ten matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Perry's third in a row) raised their record to 13-8. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Morrison, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Perry wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-2 victory against Destiny Christian on the 12th. As for Morrison, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tonkawa at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
