Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Graham Local). They put the hurt on the Ponitz Career Tech Golden Panthers with a sharp 77-51 victory on Monday. With that win, the Falcons brought their scoring average up to 50.3 points per game.

Graham Local's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Claire Sells, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 14 boards. Another player making a difference was Zoey Conn, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds.

Graham Local smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January of 2024.

The win got Graham Local back to even at 6-6. As for Ponitz Career Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Graham Local will face off against North Union at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. North Union will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Graham Local surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ponitz Career Tech, they will challenge Dunbar at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
