On Tuesday, Hillsdale was able to grind out a solid  win over Northwestern, taking the game  6-1.
 Hillsdale's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Dylan Fickes, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-4. That's the most  runs  Fickes has posted since back in March of 2024. Another  was  Cam Sweet, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Northwestern is  on  a  nine-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2. As for Hillsdale,  the  win  got them back to even at 1-1.
 Hillsdale beat Northwestern 6-1  when the teams last played  on Tuesday. Do  the Falcons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Huskies turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
