When it comes to explaining why Burlington lost, one person who can't be blamed is Keziah Williams. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. Williams has been hot recently, having posted 19 or more points the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Adan Lopez-Mitchell, who scored ten points.
Limon had a senior duo take command as Jordan Rockwell scored 29 points along with five rebounds and Treyton Marx dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Rockwell has scored at least a third of Limon's points. Mason Jaques was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds.
Burlington now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Limon, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.
Burlington will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Stratton at 4:30 p.m. One thing working in Stratton's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four games. As for Limon, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Byers at 7:00 p.m. Limon is coming into the contest with six straight victories at home, so Byers is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
