Severn School came tearing into Monday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the St. Mary's Saints by a score of 58-50. That's more bragging rights for the Admirals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Severn School pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for St. Mary's, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-10.

Severn School and St. Mary's should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Maryland Rankings. Severn School will challenge Concordia Prep at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday up 63 places (34 vs. 97). Similarly, St. Mary's (ranked 78th) will meet Friends (ranked 219th) at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
