The Kaufer Seahawks entered their tilt with the Santa Maria Cougars with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Kaufer blew past Santa Maria 48-27. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Kaufer also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Kaufer's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Myya Deneweth , who scored 18 points. That's the first time this season that Deneweth scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Arredondo, who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and five blocks.
Kaufer is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Santa Maria, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
