After having lost a blowout in their matchup two weeks ago against Fairley, Manassas were happy to find some success on Thursday. Manassas managed a somewhat close 18-12 victory over Sheffield. It took seven tries, but Manassas can finally say that they have a victory on the road.
The win bumped Manassas' record up to 2-6. Sheffield are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-9.
Next week Manassas will take on Memphis Academy of Health Sciences at 7:00 PM. Those two teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous games. As for Sheffield, they will go up against King Prep. Those two teams have had a rocky road up to this point with nine consecutive losses for Sheffield and seven for King Prep.
