Woodmont Gets a Boost from Belcher in 49-21 Loss
Starting off the list is Woodmont's Ezekiel Belcher, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Belcher rushed for 224 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 118 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Woodmont is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4. Belcher and Woodmont will square off against Greenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

While Easley might've come up empty on Friday, Aaron Tolbert wasn't going down without a fight. Tolbert turned in nothing short of a gem, making a tackle.

Ladainnian Martin and Co. Win Third in a Row
J.L. Mann picked up their third consecutive win on Saturday thanks in part to Ladainnian Martin. Hillcrest had no answer to Martin as he rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 66 receiving yards and a touchdown.
This year, Martin has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 28 receiving yards per game.

Na'cyus Morrison Makes It Two for J.L. Mann
Another J.L. Mann player making an appearance on this list is Na'Cyus Morrison. He rushed for 40 yards and two touchdowns.
If the past is any indication, Morrison could be in store for another big game when he takes on T.L. Hanna on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Morrison saw the Yellow Jackets), he rushed for 70 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries.

Antrez Nance Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Saturday, Hillcrest had to settle for second even though Antrez Nance put up the best numbers he has all season. Nance wasn't messing around, picking up two sacks and making eight total tackles (5.0 for loss). The contest was his third straight with two or more sacks dating back to last season.
With the loss, Hillcrest broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-1. Nance and Hillcrest will welcome Easley at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
