The Whitehall Railroaders will head out on the road to face off against the Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Whitehall unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They were the victim of a tough 45-25 defeat at the hands of Lake George. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Whitehall has scored all season.
Meanwhile, Waterford-Halfmoon's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Saratoga Central Catholic on the road and fell 71-39. While losing is never fun, Waterford-Halfmoon can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 489th, while Saratoga Central Catholic is ranked 239th).
Whitehall's loss dropped their record down to 5-1. As for Waterford-Halfmoon, they bumped their record down to 1-7 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
