It may have taken  eight innings to finish the job, but Londonderry ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Wednesday. They walked away with  a   5-2  win over the Wachusett Regional Mountaineers. The  victory was familiar territory for the Lancers, who have now won 12  games in a row.
 Elizabeth Kearney was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 20 batters over  eight innings while giving up just two earned runs off   six  hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-4 with one  home run and three  RBI.
 Kearney wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Riley Campo, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI. Those  two  RBI gave  Campo a new career-high.
Londonderry pushed their record up to 12-0-1 with the  win, which was their sixth straight  on the road.
