The North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers suffered their biggest defeat since December 16, 2023 on Saturday. They were beaten by Bozeman 66-33. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points North Bay Haven Academy has scored all season.
Bozeman had a senior duo take command as Lincoln Patterson went 6 for 7 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and 4 assists and Noah Gray dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Patterson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Zac Flitcraft, who scored ten points along with two steals.
This is the second loss in a row for North Bay Haven Academy and nudges their season record down to 2-17. As for Bozeman, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Bay Haven Academy will challenge South Walton at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. South Walton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than North Bay Haven Academy in Florida (South Walton is ranked 204th, while North Bay Haven Academy is ranked 659th). As for Bozeman, they will head out on the road to take on Blountstown at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Blountstown focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday.
