It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Highland Park Scots can now relate to. They took a serious blow against Shawnee Heights on Thursday, falling 56-20. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Highland Park in their matchups with Shawnee Heights: they've now lost five in a row.
Highland Park's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Ja'Corey Robbinson, who rushed for 22 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 93 yards and a touchdown. Amari Taylor was another key contributor, rushing for 83 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries.
