In what's become a running theme this season, the Conestoga Christian Cougars gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They beat Alliance Christian by the very same score they won with last week: 56-34. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Conestoga Christian has posted against Alliance Christian since January 25, 2021.
Conestoga Christian found their leader in underclassman Josh Boutaugh, who scored 19 points along with five steals and two blocks. Boutaugh hasn't dropped below two steals for 12 straight games. Another player making a difference was Paul Hurst, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Conestoga Christian's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Alliance Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Conestoga Christian will take on Harrisburg Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alliance Christian, they will be playing at home against Dayspring Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
