Hale/Bosworth had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They claimed a resounding 56-24 win over Norborne on the road.
Despite the loss, Norborne still got an impressive performance from Braydon Cook, who scored 10 points along with 9 rebounds. Cook scored a full 41.7% of Norborne's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Hale/Bosworth's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Norborne, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Hale/Bosworth will head out on the road to face off against Breckenridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Norborne, they will be playing at home against Southwest at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Southwest focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Tuesday.
