Despite their loss, Corinth Holders saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Evan Smith, who scored 18 points, was perhaps the best of all. Tyler Sandaire was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Southeast Raleigh has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 21 points or more this season. They put the hurt on Cleveland with a sharp 60-39 victory on Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Southeast Raleigh.
Corinth Holders bumped their record down to 0-8 with that loss, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Southeast Raleigh, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
