Floyd Central extended their winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Reagan Laferty. The Jaguars enjoyed a cozy 64-48 win over the Clay County Tigers on Monday for which the team can thank Laferty, who went 10-for-23 to rack up 23 points and eight rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Floyd Central's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Clay County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5-1.

Floyd Central and Clay County should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Kentucky Rankings. The Jaguars (ranked 52nd) will meet Chattanooga Christian (ranked 306th) at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Clay County will face off against Jellico at 6:00 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (109 vs. 300).
