Upper Arlington waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Olentangy Liberty Patriots. This was a revenge game for the Golden Bears: when they faced off against the Patriots on September 11th, they had to take a 3-1 loss.
Upper Arlington was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-27, 18-25, 25-20, 15-12.

Upper Arlington can attribute much of their success to Ellie Ness, who had 11 digs and three assists. That's the most assists Ness has posted since September 2nd. Eva Miller also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.
Upper Arlington was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 17 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 13 consecutive matchups.
Despite the defeat, Olentangy Liberty had strong showings from Kylie Oehler, who had 15 digs and two assists, and Delaney Larkin, who had 12 digs and two assists. Oehler is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played.
Upper Arlington's record now sits at 15-4. As for Olentangy Liberty, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season.
