It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Beaverton ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Tigard Tigers 5-4. For the Beavers, this counts as revenge for the 7-3 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2022.

Beaverton's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3. As for Tigard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3-1.

Looking ahead, Beaverton is taking a road trip to square off against Lake Oswego at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tigard, they will welcome Sprague at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Olympians will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
