Polo has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Thursday. They will square off against the Braymer Bobcats at 8:15 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Even though Polo has not done well against Winston recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Polo blew past Winston 74-49.
Meanwhile, Braymer took care of business in their home opener on Monday (and then some). They put the hurt on North Harrison with a sharp 68-46 victory.
Dakota Brandon had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Carter Shoe, who scored 11 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals.
The opposite results left the teams with opposite records: Polo's win pushed their record up to 2-0, while Winston's loss dropped theirs down to 0-2.
Polo skirted past Braymer 56-53 when the teams last played back in February. The rematch might be a little tougher for Polo since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
