On Friday, Richland Northeast didn't have too much trouble with Georgetown on the road as they won 65-49. The win made it back-to-back wins for Richland Northeast.
Among those leading the charge was Ryan Scriven, who scored 21 points along with 5 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Tillman, who scored 17 points along with 6 rebounds.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Austin Nesbit, who scored 15 points. Ty Stanley was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Richland Northeast's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Georgetown, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richland Northeast's road trip will continue as they head out to face Columbia at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th. As for Georgetown, they will take on St. James at 4:45 p.m. on Saturday. St. James presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Georgetown in South Carolina (St. James is ranked 48th, while Georgetown is ranked 154th).
