 Oakwood's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Rylee Wright, who  dropped  a double-double with 14 points and ten  rebounds. Those 14  points gave  Wright a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Madalynne Nicoson, who  posted seven points in addition to six  boards and three  blocks.
 Meanwhile, Paxton-Buckley-Loda ended up a good deal behind St. Joseph-Ogden on Monday and lost  39-25. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team's come up short the last nine times they've met.
 Paxton-Buckley-Loda's loss dropped their record down to 4-26. As for Oakwood, their win bumped their record up to 9-21.
 Oakwood came up short against Paxton-Buckley-Loda in their previous matchup  back in December of 2024, falling  40-29. Can Oakwood avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
