Tri-County had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Gresham Community Wildcats by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Penguins also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

The win didn't come easy: Gresham Community scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19.

Tri-County's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Gresham Community, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Coming up, Tri-County will face off against Bowler at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Gresham Community, their homestand will continue as they prepare to take on Faith Christian Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
