Cardinal O'Hara's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyla Hayes, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 18 rebounds. Hayes is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Williams, who scored six points along with 13 rebounds and five steals.
Cardinal O'Hara's win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-2. As for Bishop Kearney, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-6.
Cardinal O'Hara will take on Starpoint at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Starpoint will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Cardinal O'Hara surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bishop Kearney, they will head out on the road to challenge Webster Schroeder at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
