The Trinity Prep Lions won the last time they faced the Lanier Christian Academy Lightning, and things went their way on Thursday too. Trinity Prep walked away with a 61-53 win over Lanier Christian Academy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Trinity Prep.
It was another big night for Shane Harvey, who scored 26 points along with five assists and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ace Stevens, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Trinity Prep's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Lanier Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Trinity Prep will face off against HALO at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lanier Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Killian Hill Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Killian Hill Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 last Tuesday.
