Naugatuck got themselves on the board against Wilby on Wednesday, but Wilby never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 15-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Greyhounds in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won eight in a row.

James Crilly looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk).

On the hitting side, Damon Abate was a standout: he scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Cestari, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Naugatuck always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Naugatuck's victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
