Basketball Recap: Delaware County Christian Snags Ninth Victory in Last Ten Games

Delaware County Christian won the last time they faced MAST Community Charter and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Delaware County Christian Knights walked away with a 67-54 win over the MAST Community Charter Panthers. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Panthers are ranked 328th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Delaware County Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Khamai Orange, who went 10 of 20 on his way to 24 points in addition to five assists and five boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which Orange has scored at least a third of Delaware County Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Bradford Berwick, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds.

Delaware County Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in five consecutive matchups.

Delaware County Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.1 points per game. As for MAST Community Charter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-7.
