Indian Springs has not had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They came out on top against Pacific by a score of 58-49 on Thursday.
Big Bear has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 28 points or more this season. They blew past San Gorgonio 69-41 at home. Given Big Bear's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 652nd, while San Gorgonio is ranked 1348th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Big Bear got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aiden Brewer out in front who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Brewer is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Ryder Dolan was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
Indian Springs' victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for Big Bear, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
