Meanwhile, a win looked likely for Center Grove given its edge in the state rankings, but it did even better than expected last week. It breezed past Franklin Central last week with a final score of 35 - 3. With three TDs, freshman Carson Steele was a significant factor in the success.
The last time they met, Center Grove was the clear winner with a 41 - 14 finish. This defeat knocked Columbus North out of the playoffs, so expect it to come at Center Grove with a vengeful fire.
