El Cajon Valley had a senior duo take command as Massih Ehsan rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns and Darick Dubose threw for 135 yards and two touchdowns.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 5-6.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground as these two are both standouts in the run game. Sweetwater has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 353.5 rushing yards per game.
