Archie Williams' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brian Wright, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 10 rebounds. Wright is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Bugas, who scored 17 points along with 3 steals.
When it comes to explaining why Hayward lost, one person who can't be blamed is Quincy Lavender . Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 25 points and 13 rebounds. Lavender is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jayden Doss , who scored 16 points along with 6 rebounds.
Even though they lost, Hayward were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Archie Williams only pulled down nine.
The win got Archie Williams back to even at 2-2. As for Hayward, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Archie Williams will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Ukiah at 7:30 p.m. on December 6th. Ukiah is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Hayward, they will head out on the road to face off against Dublin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
