After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Loyola-Sacred Heart, the Lincoln County Lions were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They blew past Troy 59-10 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Lincoln County has managed all season.
Kara Stanger continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Brynn Miller, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Lincoln County's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Troy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Lincoln County will be playing at home against Plains at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Troy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lincoln County at 6:00 p.m. on January 30th.
