Bemidji has gone 8-2 against Brainerd recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Lumberjacks will host the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. Bemidji is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.
Bemidji barely beat Red Wing the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Lumberjacks blew past the Wingers 10-3 on Saturday.
Kobe Brown made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Brown was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Stonewall Gessner and Jack Lundquist did most of the damage at the plate: Gessner got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI and one run, while Lundquist went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Lundquist is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Dylan Lundin was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, Brainerd didn't have quite enough to beat Denfeld on Saturday and fell 4-3.
Griff Bartholomous was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.
Bemidji's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Brainerd, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9-1.
Everything went Bemidji's way against Brainerd when the teams last played on May 2nd, as Bemidji made off with a 7-0 victory. Do the Lumberjacks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
