Kennedale barely beat Ferris the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats' pitchers stepped up to hand the Yellowjackets a 15-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won eight games by eight runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Kennedale and bumps their season record up to 13-11. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Ferris, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14-3 record this season.

Kennedale will be playing at home against Panther Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Ferris does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
