There's no place like home for Jacobs, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Crystal Lake South Gators by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The Golden Eagles haven't had any issues with the Gators recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

While Jacobs won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-21.

Maddie Mitchell paced Jacobs' offense, picking up six kills. Mitchell got some help from Gianna Coletti and her 19 assists. Hailie Barton controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Jacobs' victory bumped their record up to 16-18. As for Crystal Lake South, their loss dropped their record down to 13-15.
