They claimed a resounding 51-21 victory over Franklin Monroe on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-11.
Leading Milton-Union to victory were Jenna Brumbaugh and Ava Berberich. Brumbaugh scored 17 points along with nine rebounds, while Berberich scored 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The contest was Berberich's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shannon Brumbaugh, who scored four points along with five steals.
Milton-Union's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.4 points per game. As for Franklin Monroe, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
Milton-Union will head out on the road to face off against Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Franklin Monroe won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Fairlawn at 6:00 p.m. on January 9th. Fairlawn has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
