Brewer put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They skirted past the Mt. Blue Cougars 35-32. The 35-point effort marked the Witches' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Brewer's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Owen Fullerton, who posted nine points and six assists. Those six assists gave Fullerton a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jake Perry, who earned six points and four steals.

Brewer's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-0. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Mt. Blue, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brewer will host Lawrence at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Brewer is facing Lawrence at the right time seeing as Lawrence is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Mt. Blue, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Oxford Hills at 12:00 p.m. Oxford Hills has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
