The Unionville Longhorns's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Central Dauphin Rams at 4:45 p.m. on December 28th. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Unionville has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 28 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Great Valley 73-43 on the road. Given Unionville's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while Great Valley is ranked 560th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Central Dauphin scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They walked away with a 75-64 victory over Central Dauphin East. The victory was familiar territory for Central Dauphin who now have three in a row.
Wayne Fletcher II continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 30 points along with four steals and three blocks. The game was his eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Malachi Cofield, who scored eight points.
Unionville's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points per game. As for Central Dauphin, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.
