The Anchor Bay Tars''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They and Stoney Creek were almost perfectly matched up, but Anchor Bay suffered an agonizing 24-23 loss. Anchor Bay lost against Stoney Creek in their previous head to head back in October of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 21-20 score last time.
Anchor Bay's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-7. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 8-1 Utica Eisenhower and 6-2 Chippewa Valley (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 60.4% over those games). As for Stoney Creek, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.
Anchor Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Stoney Creek is also done with their season.
