Covenant is 8-1 against Ohio Valley Christian since December of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Covenant Eagles will look to defend their home court against Ohio Valley Christian at 7:30 p.m. Covenant will be strutting in after a win while Ohio Valley Christian will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Thursday, Covenant was fully in charge, breezing past Parkersburg Christian 67-36 at home.
Meanwhile, Ohio Valley Christian took a serious blow against East on Friday, falling 65-28. Ohio Valley Christian has not had much luck with East recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite the loss, Ohio Valley Christian saw an underclassman step up: Bo Danner scored 11 points. Danner scored a full 39.3% of Ohio Valley Christian's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Burgess, who scored 6 points.
The losses dropped Covenant to 1-1 and Parkersburg Christian to 0-4.
