Manassas took down Douglass 48-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. James Smith threw for 98 yards and 2 touchdowns in the win.
Frayser made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 10,019 from 10,613. The improvement was largely due to a 20-12 victory over Westwood last week.
The Tigers' offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground LaDarrion Seymore contributed 150 yards. Michael Virgous helped Manassas' passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 20 yards.
Manassas' dynamic duo of Smith and Rayford Albright proved to be unstoppable against the Red Devils, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Virgous helped Manassas' passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 20 yards.
Seymore was a passing and rushing force as Carl Coleman's team topped Douglass. Seymore's favorite target this week was Albright, who caught 3 passes for 78 yards.
The top two teams in AA District 16 will face off this week when first place Trezevant takes on second place Manassas.
The Tigers' Seymore needs only 42 yards against Trezevant next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 125 carries Seymore has put up 958 yards this year.
There should be lots of points scored when the Bears and Manassas face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Trezevant comes in having scored 296 this season, while the Tigers have scored 224.
