Trey Scheler and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Trey Scheler was instrumental in extending Cheyenne Wells's winning streak to seven on Friday. Scheler rushed for 256 yards and five touchdowns on only nine carries, and also picked up 41 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: he has now rushed for 120 or more in the last four games he's played.
Cheyenne Wells' win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Scheler will have a chance to log another big game when he takes on Hanover on Saturday.

William Ledbetter Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
William Ledbetter posted a new career-high in rushing yards on Friday. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 118 rushing yards. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 53 yards.
This season, Ledbetter has run in 19 touchdowns while averaging 105.9 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 12.88 rushing yards per game.

Coleman threw for 194 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 73 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Wildcats duked it out back in October of 2023.

A Season-Best Performance from Karsten Buller Leads Eads over Kit Carson
Karsten Buller produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Eads to the win on Monday. Buller rushed for 217 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Eads is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Buller and Eads will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Otis at 1:00 p.m. on November 2nd.
