Meanwhile, South Caldwell put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against High Point Christian Academy by a score of 6-2. That's two games straight that the Spartans have won by exactly four runs.
South Caldwell pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Freedom, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
