Russellville is 0-10 against Fatima since February of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Russellville Indians are on the road again and plays the Fatima Comets at 6:00 p.m. on February 9th. Russellville has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 215 points over their last three contests.
Even though Russellville has not done well against Linn recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Russellville secured a 62-57 W over Linn. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Meanwhile, Fatima was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 59-54 to Eugene.
Russellville is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-15 record this season. As for Fatima, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-3.
Russellville might still be hurting after the 89-68 loss they got from Fatima in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Russellville avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
