Mercy have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will square off against Loyalton at 1:00 PM on Saturday. Mercy come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-70, which was the final score in Mercy's tilt against Los Molinos two weeks ago. Mercy were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-50.
Meanwhile, if Loyalton were riding high off their 42-20 takedown of Herlong, that ride came to an abrupt end. Loyalton took a serious blow against Princeton last Friday, falling 14-52.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
