The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Trojans considering their one-run performance the game before.
Star Orosco made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.
In other batting news, Brooke Bledsoe was incredible, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-5. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Mary Dalag was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
