Liberty County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gabriella Flowers, who scored 22 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Flowers has scored at least a third of Liberty County's points. Caleigh Peddie was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Emmanuel Christian dropped their record down to 3-12 with that loss, which was their 17th straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 13.3 points per game. As for Liberty County, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-2.
Emmanuel Christian will head out on the road to face off against Wicksburg at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Liberty County, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Blountstown at 5:15 p.m. Blountstown is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
