Mascoma will be defending their home turf for the first time on Saturday when they go up against Farmington/Nute at 2:00 PM. Mascoma are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the match prepared for a fight.
Mascoma had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it last Saturday as the team lost 12-13 to Bishop Brady.
Meanwhile, the match between Farmington/Nute and Franklin was not a total blowout, but with Farmington/Nute falling 21-38, it was darn close. This makes it the second loss in a row for Farmington/Nute.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
